Ajili Hodari Lawyer
Ajili Hodari

Ajili has been a student of meditation for nearly 30 years. Ajili was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up traveling the world as his father was in the United States military. He attended Michigan State University where he received his BA and MA degrees in Advertising. After a career in the printing and publishing industry in the San Francisco bay area he returned to school and received his law degree from the University of Iowa, College of Law in 1990. Thereafter he began practicing law in Columbus, Ohio. He is now practicing law in Seattle, Washington where he manages his own firm, Hodari Law Office.

Matthew Raider, MD Physician
Matthew Raider, MD

As a physician who has been meditating for over twenty-five years, Dr. Raider has both a personal and a professional interest in meditation and its relationship to health. He has lectured extensively in the United States and Canada on the healing power of meditation. Dr. Raider has maintained a private practice in family medicine and geriatrics since 1982, and coordinated the geriatric teaching program at Middlesex Hospital in Connecticut since 1986. He has held a faculty position at the University of Connecticut Medical School and is also the medical director of five Connecticut health care facilities.

Suzanne Lauber Educational Advisor
Suzanne Lauber

Suzanne is trained in elementary education and teaching English as a second language. She has been involved in the fields of elementary education, curriculum design, and teacher training. Suzanne is an honorary advisor to Darshan Education Foundation that runs Darshan Academy schools worldwide. The schools have a unique holistic concept that helps children develop intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Students start the day with ten minutes of meditation so that they can tap into the peace within. Darshan Education Foundation strives to provide an education that embraces all aspects of a child’s being, enabling students to meet challenges and lead life with a knowledge supported by wisdom, ethical values, good decision-making skills, as well as a respect for all life.

Paul Gilbert Business Person
Paul Gilbert

Paul Gilbert is a Senior Partner at one of the world’s largest consulting firms. He has held various positions of leadership with the firm and provides advice to clients on pension, benefit and investment-related issues. He is an enrolled actuary and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Previously, he taught mathematics and physics at Kabul University in Kabul, Afghanistan. Mr. Gilbert has served on the Boards of Directors for Communities In Schools of Washington State, Inc. and Inroads/Puget Sound, Inc. He has been a member of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce CDRT and chair of the Insurance Group for United Way of King County. Mr. Gilbert has practiced meditation for nearly 40 years. He learned the technique of meditation from Sant Kirpal Singh in 1972. He has been married to his wife, Linda, for 24 years. They currently live in Seattle, Washington.

Mark E. Young, PhD Psychologist
Mark Young

Mark Young is Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Central Florida. For more than 20 years, he worked as a therapist in community mental health, college counseling centers, private practice and corrections. He has been a state and national leader in mental health counseling and is currently President Elect of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling, a division of the American Counseling Association. He is the recipient of more than 6 million dollars in funding for marriage strengthening programs. He is the author of four textbooks including the widely used techniques book, Learning the Art of Helping from Prentice Hall. His numerous awards include the 2010 Distinguished Mentor Award from the American Counseling Association.
